Walk With Christ - Sponsor a Hiker

This is a great year to be involved with Walk With Christ!

We are looking for generous donors that would be willing to "sponsor a hiker" for the weekend. Since the beginning of WWC (14 years), this retreat has always been at no cost to participants (hikers). However, since moving the location from the BSUMC to Camp Awanita, there is a cost to be covered. It is our hope that we will reach our goal of sponsoring every hiker.

If you feel led to donate, follow the link provided and enter your donation on our giving page. *Donations are tax-deductible! Clicking the link will redirect you to our giving form - select "Walk with Christ - Sponsor a Hiker" - enter the amount (1 hiker = $100) - click "continue" where you will be taken to the processing page. Click here to Sponsor a Hiker!

Thank you for your consideration

  • Parents, we need your help. Sign up to help on Sunday mornings in the Youth Hall. We need folks that are willing to be present to welcome youth each Sunday morning, take attendance, and participate alongside youth. Can't sign up to be there every Sunday, that okay! Choose one Sunday a month or several Sundays each semester. Sign-Up Genius Link Here

Youth Worship

Youth Worship meets on Sundays from 10:00-10:50 AM on the Youth Hall. We welcome all youth in 6th-12th grades! Our Middle School meets in the Middle School room, and our High School in the High School room, then we will join together for a time of worship and spiritual formation. We hope to see you there!

InHouse

Craving connection? This is where you should start. InHouse Groups generally meet twice per month on Sunday evenings throughout the school year. Middle School InHouse meets at the Downtown Campus, and High School InHouse meets at people’s homes. Each InHouse group is traditionally split up by grades and gender.

BigHouse

This big group time is all about having fun! This is a great way to introduce your friends to B-Street Youth. BigHouse meets approximately once per month during the school year on Sunday evening.

Confirmation

Our Confirmation program is designed to integrate into the life of our youth. At the end of their 8th grade year, we hold a Confirmation service where we recognize our new Confirmands. Older than 8th grade and would like to Confirm? No problem! You are more than welcome. We will learn and re-learn the information aspect, every year! To find out more about the expectations of a new Confirmand, and Confirmation in general, check out our Confirmation Flow Chart

Retreats

  • Fall Retreat (annually in October or November)
  • Walk With Christ is a student-led spiritual retreat held over a weekend at the Downtown Campus. (annually in February or March)

Mission Trips

Both high school and middle school participate in week-long mission trips during the summer. Middle school focuses on the Greenville area, and high school travels out of Greenville. Each trip is planned with service, worship, fellowship, and fun in mind.
