Sprouts

This is a ministry offering for 4th and 5th graders who wish to participate in a covenant group on Sunday evenings from 5:15-7:15 PM, September through April. The children learn what it means to be a true disciple of Christ n his or her daily practice of:

  • Acts of Compassion (helping others)
  • Acts of Justice (helping our world)
  • Acts of devotion (relating to God)
  • Acts of Worship (praising God)

The children practice their discipleship by going out into the community and helping those in need, just as Jesus did. A few of the projects our Sprouts have participated in include: a poverty tour of Greenville, the Transformation Walk, Bags of Blessing, the CROP Hunger Walk, The Salvation Army, SOS bags, and helping out in various Miracle Hill Ministries’ missions.

Are you interested in knowing more about Sprouts, or perhaps you feel called to help with this ministry? Please email Rev. Gayle Quay.
